Joy of Singing Workshop
5th & 6th September
A creative vocal workshop led by Shirin Majd empowering individuals through music, story, and self-expression – designed for everyone, regardless of musical background. The workshop includes group singing, storytelling through songwriting, and individual sessions to build confidence and presence.
Participants have the unique chance to perform onstage with Shirin Majd and also experience her outstanding performance show „Journey to Stolen Identity” first hand! This production masterfully blends theatre, music, visual art and breathtaking aerial dance to explore profound themes of identity, displacement, and the enduring power of resilience.
What to look forward to
– For people ages 15+, creative industry performers, those who enjoy singing and people with social anxiety or seeking a safe space for creative expression.

– Introduction to vocal techniques, breath control, and performance skills.

About Shirin Majd
Shirin Majd is an Iranian-Australian classical singer, vocal pedagogue, and songwriter with over 20 years of international experience. She has performed across Iran, Europe, US and Australia, and is the artistic director of Sweet Sound Ensemble. Shirin is a passionate, experienced teacher dedicated to helping singers of all levels and genres find their unique voice.
